Elecard MPEG -2 Decoder and Streaming Plugin for Windows Media Player is a set of software components developed by Elecard. It is meant for the demultiplexing and decoding of multi-media data as well as for the receipt and decoding of data-flow broadcasting. MPEG-2 video decoder, also known as DVD decoder, components for the data-flow receipt and demultiplexer that are included in the set are realized on the basis of the proprietary technology Microsoft DirectShow. They are fully compatible with the applications that use this technology.
